This Kinder Egg Duck craft for kids is great for a number of occasions. They are great for spring time, Easter time or even just general animal crafting fun!
These fun “kinder ducks” are a cute decoration – if you want to give him as a treat to a friend or family member, just pop him open and fill him with candies!
My kids always refuse to throw out their Kinder Surprise eggs whenever they are finished so I always figure I should recycle them into something great!

Duck Crafts for Kids: How to Make a Kinder Duck
This Kinder duck craft for kids lets us transform a Kinder egg into a cute lovable duck, just in time for Spring and Easter. This Spring craft is suitable for kids aged 4 years and upwards. Preschool can do this with lots of help from an adult. First we will start with our beak and feet. Use the orange craft foam and cut out a pair of feet. We decided to leave the two feet attached for easier gluing, and he stands a little better. Cut out a beak, be sure to leave a lip on the bottom of the triangle. This will fold and create the top and bottom of its beak. Cut out two lengths of your yellow pipe cleaner - approx 2 to 3 inches in length. Bend each of these into an M shape. Cut a small length of the pipe cleaner and bend it into a W type shape. This will be a little feather for its head. Glue your feet to the bottom of the kinder container. When gluing to plastic sometimes regular white glue can take a bit to set, if time is a constraint use a hot glue gun (with supervision). Fold the beak in half. We found that scoring the bend helped it stay better. Glue this in the center of the kinder container (be sure it still opens). Pick out two googly eyes that are a nice size for your duck. Glue them above the beak. Take your two M shaped pipe cleaners and twist the ends together. This will create your wings. Glue one on each side of your duck. Take your little feather bunch and glue it to the top of the duck's head. Now that we have finished our duck crafts for kids we have an adorable little duckling! Have fun and fill it with a little candy surprise.
