This Mother’s Day show mom how special she really is.
We thought we would start with making mom a badge. What better way to say “you’re number one” than a first place badge!
She can wear it with pride. not just on Mother’s Day but all year long. Not only does it show her she’s awesome it’s handmade with love.
This is just one of my easy Mother’s Day crafts for 2022
The instructions are easy and the supplies are simple.
Mother’s Day Badge Craft
Craft Supplies:
- Craft foam
- Scissors
- Markers
- Glue
- Pin
Age Range:
- 4 years and up
Time to Complete:
- 30 minutes or so
Step #1:
Pick your first color of craft foam. We went with a nice bright yellow. Cut out a burst shape with one end as a longer ribbon section.
Step #2:
Choose a secondary color for the next part of the badge. We went with purple because our mom loves purple! Cut out a circle to match the top part of your badge. Make it stand out by creating wavy or zig zag cuts around the circle.
You can line them up with the burst corners on your yellow craft foam.
Step #3:
With a third piece of craft foam (we chose pink) cut out a heart shape. Make sure it is similar size to the rest of the badge.
Step #4:
Take a black marker and write “#1 mom” on the heart shape.
Step #5:
Glue all three pieces together. You can also glue a pin to the back side so mom can wear your badge all day long.
We may assume that mom knows she’s great, but it never hurts to show her how you feel!
