3D Flower Cards for Kids to Make

My kids absolutely love 3D cards for their Birthday which have pop up elements! These are rather expensive to buy and sometimes there is poor choice. The best thing to do is make your own!

I have made a few seasonal ones including my Elsa Heart Pop Up card and my Snowman Pop up card for Christmas! Lots more are in the pipeline.

Since we are in March now there is no better time to do a flower pop up card! These can be used for Mums and Grandmothers who have Spring or Summer Birthdays!

How about my cute daisy Mother’s Day handmade card which is simple for little kids to make?! Not just for Mothering Sunday, but can be used at anytime of the year.

The one I have made is for Mother’s Day, but you can change your message on the front to Happy Birthday!

In fact you can change it to even a Good Luck card or just simply a friendship card.

My 5 year old loves helping me with these but I need to do most of the steps. She is good at cutting things out and sticking things down.

I would expect older kids, maybe around 9 or 10 to be able to follow the craft tutorial and complete these 3D pop up cards themselves.

After “step 8” decorate your card using colourful polka dots using craft papers. You can skip this part if you want or maybe you might want to add glitter instead of colored craft papers.

Then print out the quote “Happy Mothers Day “ from the second template and glue it on the front card (bigger card).
