Traditionally, dream catchers are known to trap the bad dreams in the web and let the good dreams slide down.
Supplies: Pipe cleaner, String, Feathers, Beads, Scissors
Create your very own castle and defend it!
Supplies: Three empty paper towel rolls, Four pieces of cardboard, Construction paper, Black marker, Glue, Scissors
Create some figurines to play with in your cardboard castle.
In school we learn different languages. This kids arts and craft will teach any one to write in Egyptian!
- Egyptian Alphabet
- Piece of construction paper
- Scrap Paper
Check what each letter of your name looks like in Egyptian. Practice drawing out your name on the scrap piece of paper.
Draw out your Egyptian name in pencil on your construction paper – in the centre.
Decorate the rest of the page and color in your name.
Jazz It Up!!
Buy a frame and hang it on your wall. Or maybe use paint instead of markers!
These fun Mexican musical instruments will give the kids hours of fun, but be prepared for hours of noise!
- Yogurt container (that comes with a lid)or a similar sized container
- Popsicle sticks
- Rice or beads
- Construction Paper
Cut a slip into the lid of each yogurt container and slide the popsicle stick in. Glue these in place. Set aside to dry.
Use the construction paper, sparkles markers and glue to decorate your yogurt containers. These are your maracas so make them flashy!
Fill your yogurt containers with the rice/beads. Glue each of these containers closed.
Jazz It Up!!
Glue strings with beads to the bottom of the yogurt container for added music.
