My cute Santa bookmarks are another great DIY Christmas gift for kids this year.

Christmas Crafts for Kids: Santa Bottle Craft full of Christmas Cheer

Craft Supplies:
  • Empty pill bottle, we used a Gaviscon bottle.
  • Red paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Googly eyes
  • Pom pom
  • White tissue paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Marker
  • Christmas themed stickers
Age Recommendation:
  • 6+ years old

Time to Complete:

  • 30-45 minutes

Step #1:

Paint the bottom half of the bottle with red paid. This will be Santa’s suit. Set it aside to dry.

While it is drying, why not check out more of our Christmas crafts for kids.

Step #2:

If there is parental supervision, a hot glue gun may work better for this part.

Add on the googly eyes and a pom pom for Santa’s nose.

Step #3:

Cut up a bunch of strips of tissue paper, crumple them all up a little bit.

Glue some on the back side of the bottle, in all the area that is not painted red.

Step #4:

Add more of the tissue paper strips to the front. This time do not fill where Santa’s face is.

Step #5:

Add a balled up piece of tissue paper to the top of the bottle. You can also choose to use a pom pom if you have a large enough white pom pom.

Step #6

Decorate Santa’s suit with some festive Christmas stickers.

Here we are! Fun Santa Christmas crafts for kids and an adorable way to give out some sweets this Christmas!

Now, head to the store and fill this up with something sweet – you can add holiday chocolates, mints, or candy. If you still have more candy to give why not make Santa sack from paper mache. It can also be filled with candy canes.
