Pumpkin Pop up Card for Thanksgiving
If you follow my website you will know my kids and I adore pumpkin season. We get started with painted pumpkins and easy pumpkin carvings mid October, before moving onto pumpkin coloring pages and pumpkin drawings.
Our next step is then to try and create some cute homemade Thanksgiving cards, which will no doubt feature pumpkins alongside turkeys.
Pumpkin cards are a great way to say thanks to friends and family for everything they have done all year. Little kids may want to make this card to say thank you to their Mummies and Daddies for helping them with homework, making them dinner and playing games with them.

Take orange shaded craft papers. Use the templates to cut out the pumpkin pattern.
Step 2:
Trace the pattern on the orange craft paper.
Step 3:
Cut out the pattern from the craft paper. Cut out at least 15-20 pieces.
Step 4:
Fold all the pieces vertically in half.
Step 5:
Apply glue on one half of the pattern.
Step 6:
Then, overlap another piece on it.
Step 7:
Similarly, glue all of them together.
Step 8:
Open the folds to reveal your pumpkin.
Step 9:
Take a green and brown shaded craft paper for the leaves and stem.
Trace the patterns on the papers.
Step 10:
Cut the patterns out along the outlines.
Step 11:
Take your card paper. Fold the card in half.
Step 12:
First, glue the stem in the middle part of the folded card.
Step 13:
Then, glue the pumpkin on the centre of the card below the stem.
Step 14:
Glue the two leaves on two sides of the stem.
Step 15:
Cut out a cover from a colorful craft paper for your card. I went for purple but you can choose whichever color you wish.
Step 16:
Glue the cover on the back of the card to finish your craft. You just need to write Happy Thanksgiving or alternatively Happy Halloween.
You can make as many as these as you wish and send them to friends and family.
