Labubu Pumpkin Ideas – Hottest Pumpkin 2025

One of the hottest pumpkins for 2025 has got to be the Labubu pumpkin, which appeals to both boys and girls!! My lububu pumpkin carving was so easy to do from a pumpkin stencil picture.

Some people also call them Lafufu pumpkins but we all know they are the most popular pumpkin carving or painted pumpkin idea this year.

Yep Tik Tok is featuring lots of different designs daily and every new one is looking better than the previous ones! They could even have a Labubu pumpkin contest, just featuring the lovable monsters themselves!

The good news is that these are quick and easy to make whether you go down the carving road or painting road! 

I’ve actually seen a few done and they look amazing. My daughter’s best friend painted hers and added a woolly hat to complete the look! Of course her next words are Mum please make me one, not exactly the same but a bit different!

How to Make a Labubu Pumpkin

First decide whether you want to carve or paint or maybe a combination of both?! You can look at my completed Jack O Lantern below or you can go onto a site like Etsy and buy some printable templates to simplify things. 

To be honest the painting method is actually much quicker and looks equally as good! It’s a case of painting the pumpkin white and drawing some eyes, a nose and teeth.

I went onto Etsy for some inspiration and found a set of pumpkin carving templates. I picked one of the designs and decided to copy it.

I could have bought it and made things simpler for myself but I think my hubby did a good job copying it. You can find it by visiting Etsy and searching for Lububu pumpkin carving stencil.

We started carving the eyes first. We made two ‘U’s for the eyes and used a nail to make a hole for the pupil. Next we did a thick bar for both eyebrows.

The ears came next. You can see we did them as two triangles. 

The easiest part was the nose which is just in the middle between the 2 eyes. 

Finally we carved the wide toothy grin. The top of the mouth is literally a wide line and the bottom is small bumps representing the teeth.

To make this Jack O Lantern better I might add a fur hat. You could even paint the face a pale peach or white to make it look more like the color of a Lububu.
