As Christmas approaches we are always looking for novel ways to decorate our home. In recent years gnomes have become a popular decor choice for all seasons of the year!!

I know my Valentine gnome looks picture perfect on a Valentine Card and my Halloween gnome brings all the scariness of a witch!

Of course the most popular time of the year to decorate is Christmas! Christmas ornament crafts are very popular! I have made lots of great things with my kids including my clay pot gingerbread craft and my toilet paper roll angel for the top of the Christmas tree.

Gnomes are a great idea for decor at Christmas time. They can be made in Christmas colors to represent Santa Claus!

These cute gnome tree ornaments craft can be made in 10 steps. Mum or an adult will have to do most but kids can help them!

Add some hot glue to the bottom part of the ghost and add the duster cloth

Step 6

Next add a dab of hot glue and add the pearl bead

Step 7

Cut the bottom section of the mitten off and where the thumb section is

Step 8

Add a thin line of hot glue above where the beard is and place the red glove on top

Step 9

Then cut a section of the jute twine (mine was about 5-6 inches) and hot glue to the backside

Cut a section about 5 inches and tie a bow towards the top of the mitten to form the hat

Step 10

You can tie this to your Christmas tree or have it free standing on a mantelpiece or small table.

What will you do with your Dollar tree gnome ornament? Why not make lots and give them to friends. You can give them along with a Christmas card!
