Entertain your little wannabe firefighters with this cool Fireman Sam craft with toilet paper roll! My 4 year old is a massive fan of the red haired Fireman and he loves using this finished craft for pretend play!

I love encouraging my 4 year old son to make crafts because I believe it helps calm him down whilst making him creative at the same time.

He will be expected to make simple crafts and do some drawing when he starts school in just under 6 months time so I thought it would be a good idea to get him using his fine motor skills to cut paper and glue things together.

I have to say he was very excited when I showed him a picture of the Toilet Paper Roll Fireman and asked me could we make it straight away!! Fireman crafts are such a huge hit for boys. I also have a brilliant Firefighter Craft which helps you make your own puppet!

Fireman Sam Craft with Toilet Paper Roll

Yield: 1

Entertain your little wannabe firefighters with this cool Fireman Sam craft with toilet paper roll.

Materials

Toilet paper roll.
Colourful craft papers.
Pencil.
Ruler.
Scissors.
Glue.
Marker pens.

Instructions

Step 1:

Print out the PDF templates and cut out the pieces.

Use the templates to trace and cut out the pieces from colourful craft papers.

Step 2:

First, glue the hats logo in the middle part of the hat.

Then, glue the belt onto the shirt (the body).

Now, glue the shoes onto the trousers

Allow the glue to dry.

Step 3:

Glue the head to the body.

Then glue the buttons to the shirt.

Step 4:

Wrap the toilet paper roll with paper; half with yellow and another half with blue craft papers.

This isn't necessary but it'll add more details to the craft.

Step 5:

Now, glue the trousers onto the bottom part of the toilet paper roll

Step 6:

Then finish it off by gluing the body and head on top of the paper roll. Know you have your lovable Fireman Sam Toilet Paper Roll Craft

There are lots of different Fireman, in Fireman Sam so why not make more than one of these. You could make Elvis and change the hair to black.

You can use these guys for pretend play. Kids can put them on top of their toy fire engines and pretend to put fires out.
