Finding Nemo Craft

Clown fish are very distinct with their white stripes and have been made popular by the movie, ‘Finding Nemo’. In fact sometimes I call this my Finding Nemo craft.

They are super duper cute and visually appealing due to their bright colors.

How to Make a Clownfish craft from paper

List of Supplies

Colored craft papers

Scissors

Pencil

Craft glue

Sharpie

Papercraft Clown Fish Template

Step by step clownfish craft process

Step 1:

Select colored craft papers for the clown fish craft. Print and prepare the clown fish template

patterns. The template includes patterns for the fish base, tail fin, side fins and eye bases and base strips.

Use pencil to trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and use scissors

to cut the traced pattern.

Step 2:

Glue the white strip cut-outs to the body base cut-out and cut a small (1 cm) slit on the front,

middle part of the base.

Step 3:

Apply glue on any one side of the slit.

Step 4:

Slightly overlap both sides of the slit and join them.

Step 5:

Similarly, cut slit and join both sides of the slits for the bottom end of the fish base.

Step 6:

Take the fish tail cut-out and make accordion fold on it.

Step 7:

Glue the accordion folded tail fin to the bottom end of the fish base, keeping the round side

facing outside.

Step 8:

Make accordion folds on the side fins.

Step 9:

Use a sharpie to draw the eye on the eye base cut-out and glue it to the fish base. Glue a small

side fin to the fish base too.

Step 10:

Glue the other small side fin to the bottom and the big one to the top side of the fish base to

complete the paper clownfish.
