Recently my kids and I have been learning lots about dinosaurs! T Rex is my little boy’s favorite so I knew he would love these bookmarks.
If your little dino fans likes to cuddle up with a book before bed these are a great activity to do so that he can slot his bookmark inside his book to keep his place.
It is so easy to make your own and previously I have made lots including my Avengers bookmark craft (a huge hit for little boys who love to read)
This one of my easy paper crafts that comes with a free template and instructions.
T Rex Bookmark Craft
This T Rex bookmark craft is an easy paper craft for boys and girls who love dinosaurs and love to read
Materials
- 1. Colored craft papers
- 2. Craft glue
- 3. Sharpie
- 4. Pencil
- 5. Scissors
Instructions
Step 1:
Select 2 or 3 different shades of green colored craft papers for T-Rex dinosaur bookmark craft.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out using scissors. Older kids age 6 and 7 should be able to do this.
Trace the head, arms and body on one paper, the scales on one paper
and the front pattern on another shade of paper.
Step 2:
Attach the short scale cut-out along the top side of the head. Attach the front pattern cut-out near the top side of the body base.
Step 3:
Take an arm piece and apply glue along the straight end of the arm or you can also apply glue along the side of the body base where you would like to attach the arm.
Attach the arm along the side only; keep the rest of the pattern free
from glue.
Step 4:
Attach the other arm the same way.
Step 5:
Attach the long scale cutout along the curved side (back side of the dinosaur pattern) of the body base.
Step 6:
Attach the head pattern on the top side of the body base.
Use a sharpie or black gel pen to draw the eyes, nose and mouth of the papercraft T-Rex.
