Who wants to send Halloween cards to their friends and family this year? If so why not make my black cat pop up card for Halloween!

Kids are always off school in the run up to Halloween celebrations and they love doing all sorts of fun spooky crafts!

I love my easy cat crafts and this is another to add to my collection! I have started making lots of different types of Halloween cards as I know kids love to craft and they also love to send cards to their friends.

It can be difficult to buy good Halloween cards in the shop, not to mention expensive, so you are far better making your own!

Previously I made a scary witch pop up card, which can be used for Halloween or Birthday! I have lots of other pop up cards also.

If you want a generic cat card craft, possibly for Valentines Day or Birthday, that is not scary then you should try my other diy cat pop up card

Below I have included my step by step Halloween card craft process with images to help kids and their Mummies complete this!

Black Cat Pop Up Card for Halloween

Yield: 1

This black cat pop up card for Halloween is super easy to make using my free craft instructions and templates.

Materials

Cardstock paper.
Craft Papers.
Pencil.
Ruler.
Scissors.
Glue.
Marker Pens.

Instructions

Step 1:

Cut out all the elements from the PDF templates to make your car pop up card.

Step 2:

Take the two pieces for the cat’s hat and glue them on the cat’s head.

Step 3:

Glue the hat’s belt and buckle over the hat.

Step 4:

Glue the cat’s eyes and mouth on the cat’s face.

Step 5

Use colorful marker pens to draw outline on the cat’s hat.

Step 6:

Prepare the rest of the decorations. Glue the pumpkins stems and leaves, glue the potion with the cauldron and draw faces on the ghost. This is what it should look like.

Step 7:

Select a card for your craft.

Step 8:

Now according to the ‘card template PDF’ draw slot number 1 and 2 using a pencil on the closed side of the card.

Step 9:

Cut along the slots (redlines of the card template). Then, fold the slots slightly along the green lines of the template.

Step 10:

Push the slots inwards the card.

Step 11:

Now close the card again. And draw slots number 3.

Step 12:

Cut along the red lines. Make sure not to cut the bottom part of the card. Cut over the previous slot that is folded inside the card (slot number 2). Then fold along the green lines.

Step 13:

Push these two slots inwards the card as well. If you have completed the pop out steps correctly this is what it should look like.

Step 14:

Glue the cat and cauldron on the middle slot.

Step 15:

Glue the two pumpkins on the two sides.

Step 16:

Glue the ghosts above the pumpkins.

Step 17:

Glue the bat and the moon on the background.
