Instructions
Step 1:

Trace the template patterns onto the selected papers with a pencil and use scissors to cut out the traced patterns.
Step 2:
Take the pumpkin cut-outs and use matching markers to add outlines to the stem and the pumpkin cut-outs.
Step 3:
Glue the stem to the top middle part of the pumpkin pattern as shown below.
Step 4:
Glue the band cut-out to the hat cut-out.
Step 5:
Take the ghost base cut-out. Use a black marker to draw the eyes and mouth of the ghost and use a pink marker to draw the blush spots.
Step 6:
Glue the paper hat pattern to the top end of the paper ghost. Your adorable rocking ghost should look like this (provided you have followed all instructions and used the free printable template π ) :-
Step 8:
Place and glue the paper pumpkin under the arms of the paper ghost.
Step 9:
Take the rocking base and fold it in half neatly as shown below.
Step 10:
Glue the paper ghost to a side of the folded rocking base, making sure to keep the bottom, round edge of the rocking base free otherwise it won't rock.
Step 11:
Gently push a side of the rocking base downwards and leave it quickly. The paper ghost will rock for a few seconds. Kids love fidgeting with things and I can guarantee they will be rocking this for ages!
