March is still generally chilly outside so it is the perfect time to do some fun craft activities with kids to keep them from excess screen time.

Children cannot get enough of leprechaun crafts in the lead up to March 17th so I know this keeps them entertained! Fortunately every year I do different ones to hold their attention. This year my kids were very specific that they wanted to make a new leprechaun trap.

Last year we made a toilet paper roll leprechaun trap in the shape of a top hat so this time around we decided to use different craft materials. I was planning on using a old tissue box, and I still may use this to make another one if I have time, but instead we opted for a clay pot craft.

I just love painting and decorating clay pots all year long so I knew this would be perfect.

I hope you and the kids enjoy making this as much as my family did. Please find the easy clay pot leprechaun craft procedure with images below.
