If you want an easy spooky Halloween craft then you ought to try my frankenstein handprint for kids! Super simple and will give someone a fright on Halloween night!!
Frankenstein Halloween Handprint
Nothing is more scary than the ugly frankenstein so why not get into the Halloween spirit by using some handprints to make your own spooky Halloween creature!!
You can use your own handprints or use my free printable template with handprints included.
Select thick colored craft papers for the handprint Frankenstein craft. The template includes
handprint layouts for the head base and the body.
Trace the patterns on selected craft papers and use a pair of scissors to cut them out.
You can use the handprint layout provided with the template or you can use your own hand for this craft. I like using my own hands if we are making Halloween keepsakes!
Step 2:
Use black sharpie to color the fingers of the open handprint for the hair part of the Frankenstein
craft.
Step 3:
Use a black sharpie to draw the eyes on the eye base cut-outs and glue the eyes near the top part
of the head cut-out. Glue the bolt cut-out on both sides of the handprint head layout.
Step 4:
Use a black sharpie to draw the mouth and nose of the Frankenstein pattern. His face should look as below if you have followed my instructions perfectly! Of course you are welcome to add your own expression or even some teeth or fangs if you like!
Step 5:
Take the closed handprint and the half handprint cut-outs. Glue the strips cut-out along the middle of the palm cut-out (this will be the shirt of the Frankenstein pattern).
Step 6:
Glue the shirt pattern to the palm part of the full handprint layout (the body base).
Step 7:
Glue the trouser cut-out (3 fingers) to the other half part of the full handprint layout.
Step 8:
Attach the head on the edge of the palm of the full handprint layout to complete the craft.
Why not make lots of spooky Halloween handprints and attach them together to make a banner or garland for your house?!
