Normally the lead up to Easter is full of wet windy days so there is no better time to gather the children around the crafting table and make something great.

This Easter paper craft lets you make an adorable wreath and best of all it only requires a few materials.

Previously I have made lots of wreaths for different seasons including my St Patrick’s Day paper wreath and my Tissue Paper Wreath for Christmas.

Hang it in your kitchen and wait for everyone to compliment you on it.

You can decorate each individual egg as you wish and even put written messages on them.

Teach kids that crafting is exciting and the end result is worth it! Easy wreath crafts are a great way for kids to decorate your home the fun way!

Materials

  • White card 21 x 29 cm
  • Colored and printed cards 21 x 15 cm
  • Craft rope 25 cm
  • Safety scissor
  • Glue stick
  • Pencil

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the colored and printed sheets in the shape of an eggs. You can decorate your own eggs or buy patterned sheets. I guess you could even use old cards for your egg.

Step 2

Using a board marker, trace the outline of the eggs

Step 3

Cut an oval frame using the white card to work as a base for the wreath.

Step 4

Paste that eggs on that circular white card with the help of glue stick in the shape of a wreath.

Step 5

Punch a hole on the top of that card. Pass a coconut rope through the hole and tie it for hanging.

Step 6

Now hang this craft on the wall to get into festive mood this Easter.

Notes

Personalize your eggs with the names of family members if you wish!

You can also decorate them however you want. You could add glitter or sequins.

This is great fun and the perfect hanging décor if you are planning a get together over the school holidays.

You could even make 2 or 3 of these for different rooms in the house, and make them all slightly different.
