You can buy traditional beige ones or colored ones. I have both in my house, but I find my kids like painting the neutral color ones much better than the bright colored ones!
They are so versatile as you can use them solely on their own to make a wide range of things from photo frames to Christmas trees and Leprechauns!
You can also use them in conjunction with other craft supplies like paper plates and toilet paper rolls! I have used them to make lots of puppets for kids.
