Here’s another easy Fall craft for kids to give a special touch to the thanksgiving dinner, use these DIY Thanksgiving napkin rings for a special touch to the table.
These instructions will help you to turn an ordinary toilet paper, or paper towel roll into festive thanksgiving napkin rings.
The possibilities are almost endless when it comes to what you can decorate these rings with.
Here are a few ideas for the tops of your napkin rolls:
Pilgrims, Turkey, Leaves, Indians, The Mayflower, Pumpkin, Cornucopia, Pilgrim Hat, Corn, “Thanks”, “Be Thankful” etc.
You could draw a small pumpkin picture and stick that onto your Thanksgiving napkin holder craft
Another idea would be to incorporate everyone’s name onto each napkin ring, this way they act as a name card too! This is such a useful craft which is so much fun!

DIY Thanksgiving Napkin Rings
Put those empty toilet paper rolls to good use, no need to throw them in the garbage! I love recycling materials! Why pay for these when you can have some fabulous homemade napkin rings

Craft Supplies:

Step #1: Cut your different color construction paper into 1 inch strips. Use thanksgiving themed colors (red, orange, yellow, brown). Use a toilet paper roll and cut it into three pieces. Repeat for the amount you will need. |

Step #2: Glue the strips of construction paper onto the toilet paper rolls. |

Step #3: Create thanksgiving images out of construction paper or foam to glue on the front of each napkin ring. You can draw things like pumpkins, cornicopias, pilgrims, turkeys, etc. Glue these onto your rolls. |
Instead of drawing your thanksgiving designs right on the construction paper, create them out of craft foam and glue them on the front.
You could also make some others with words on them. You could write words like thanks, appreciate, helpful. All words that mean being thankful and things that make you thankful.
