This St Patrick’s Day Binocular Craft for kids is perfect for wannabe Leprechaun’s this 17th March, who are in search for a pot of gold.
Making a pair of DIY binoculars is super duper easy with some sturdy toilet paper rolls. You just need one for each eye and off you go.
My step by step craft with paper and scissors shows you how to decorate these so as they are fit for a wannabe leprechaun on St Patrick’s Day!!
They can use these for pretend play or to hunting for their own pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. You can see some gold at the end of my St Patrick’s Day wreath paper craft.
I love cool toilet paper roll crafts like these DIY Binoculars for St Patrick’s Day.
This St Patrick's Day Binocular Craft for kids is perfect for wannabe Leprechaun's this 17th March, who are in search for a pot of gold. Step 1 Using white construction or foam paper, cut to size and completely cover the TP rolls Step 2 Cut to size and glue the green pipe cleaners around both ends of the covered roll Step 3 Decorate the rolls as desired with paint pens, markers, or cut outs from paper. You can draw shamrocks, horseshoes or even a rainbow! I opted for a four leaf clover! Step 4 Use the hot glue to attach the 2 rolls together, press firmly until set Step 5 To attach the lanyard - cut string, yarn, or ribbon to desired length Step 6 Use the hole punch to make a hole in the outside top of each roll and tie the string through OR simply glue each end of the string to the inside of the roll on the outside top Your binoculars are now complete! Good luck on your search for treasure!
