Instructions:

Use the attached PDF templates to trace the patterns on your craft papers.
Then use a pair or scissors to carefully cut out the patterns.
Step 2:
Glue the light blue coloured base over the stitch body pattern.
Step 3:
Glue the two eye patterns on the top left and right side of the head.
And also, glue the two hands on two sides of the body.
Step 4:
Glue the two ear patterns on two sides.
Step 5:
Then, glue the nose in between the two eyes.
Step 6:
Use black marker to draw the eyeballs.
Step 7:
Glue the two paws and use black thin marker pen to draw the claws. Use the pen to draw some curved furry lines on the chest.
Step 8:
Glue the belt and buckle pattern on the hat.
Use marker pen to draw face on the pumpkin shape.
Step 9:
Take your cardstock paper. It should be twice the length on the stitch pattern.
Step 10:
Fold your card in half vertically.
Step 11:
Draw two horizontal lines on closed side of the card keep 2-3 centimetres gap between the two lines as shown below.
Step 12:
Cut along the lines.
Step 13:
Open the card and fold in the pop socket. If you have cut the lines correctly this is how your card should look. It has a pop out bit as shown.
Step 14:
Use a colorful cover for your card. Use Halloween colors i.e orange, purple, green or black. I chose orange as I feel it makes Stitch stand out more.
Of course you could add polka dots in a different color or zig zags for extra emphasis.
Step 15:
Glue the hat on top of stitch’s head.
Step 16:
Then, glue Halloween stitch on the pop socket.
Step 17:
Glue the pumpkin on stitch’s hand.
And your craft is done. how about adding a witches broom or even a black cat to complete the look! You have your own Halloween stitch card.
Of course you could remove the pumpkin and use this as a Birthday card!
Feel free to add Happy Halloween or your own spooky message!
After you have completed your handmade Halloween cards maybe you might like to turn your attention to making a painted pumpkin or trying a easy pumpkin carving .
