Paper Plate Jellyfish Craft for Kids

Jellyfish Paper Plate Craft

Jellyfish live in the sea but quite often you can see them washed up on the sand!! I was quite surprised to find out that most jellyfish only live a few months unless they are kept enclosed. In this case they can live for a few years!

My children love learning about sea creatures so I thought I would do a cute jellyfish craft and educate them at the same time!! Next up we will be doing some easy starfish crafts

This is certainly one of my cute ocean crafts for kids

I actually love this activity for preschool kids as we can talk about the different colors and shapes we use to complete this craft.

Like most of my ideas this can be completed very quickly making it ideal for a fun preschool art activity.

Make lots of these in different colors! You could make a display of jellyfish in the classroom and combine them with other sea life.

Other Jellyfish Crafts to Make

What other materials could you use to make Jellyfish? You could use colored craft papers and attach pipe cleaners as legs.

You can also make jellyfish using egg cartons. The carton represents the body and then you need to attach some colored pieces of paper, yarn or pipe cleaners to represent the legs!

Why not use a paper cup or even a plastic bottle, use your creativity!!
